Mr. Reed was elected to serve on the Metropolitan Community College (MCC) Board of Trustees in 2020 a volunteer position where he and fellow board members have a fiduciary responsibility, which primarily serves the Greater Kansas City area: Clay, Platte, Jackson and Cass counties. MCC offers 125 associate degree and certificate programs, dedicated to serving the educational needs of the community.
